Under a charter from the Guam Society of America, Inc., the Roberto LG Lizama Memorial Golf Classic is held annually in honor and remembrance of a most dedicated member of the society and pioneer in the sport of golf.
Members shall instill in their efforts the promotion of the; culture, language, traditions and welfare of Guam and the Chamorro people as exemplified by Mr. Roberto LG Lizama.
In keeping with Mr. Lizama’s great legacy. Proceeds from the Roberto LG Lizama Memorial Golf Classic shall be used to foster educational scholarships as well as cultural and social programs that embody this great mission.
